DeMarcus is the youngest of 4 siblings. His mother is Mamie Washington and his father is Andrew Washington. He is the proud father of two wonderful children; Jasmine and Ethan. DeMarcus is from Shreveport, LA but currently resides in Houston, TX. He is a godly man that loves the Lord and he too accepted Christ at a young age.

A chance encounter that occurred all because of a little prayer…
How We Met
One September day, Danielle, a woman that had never used a dating site before, noticed that Facebook had something called “Facebook Dating”. On a whim, she decided to make a profile in hopes of meeting someone to have great conversation with. On her profile she decided to write…”even if you don’t pick me, if you ever need someone to pray for you please let me know. I would be more than happy to pray for you and pray with you.”
DeMarcus was scrolling through his matches in Facebook and noticed this woman talking about praying. He thought, “Who is this goody two shoes!”. On a whim, he accepted her match and reached out.
The couple went from chatting to video calling to finally meeting up for their first date. And the rest, as the say, is history!

Ceremony Location Details
The ceremony will be held at the beautiful, Borden Chapel Baptist Church. The church began when a small group gathered to worship and pray in the kitchen of Danielle’s great great grandmother, Mary LeBlanc. Danielle’s late grandfather, Philip LeBlanc, was a deacon at the church and many of her relatives served and worshipped there.

The reception will be held at the beautiful Beaumont Event Center in Downtown Beaumont. The venue features a beautiful lake and wall to wall glass windows. The event will feature a live DJ, a full meal, appetizers, cake, fun, and much more.
